Hello friends!  Here is an easy way to take an average picture and make it AWESOME!  One word: Depth.  So how do you do that you ask, well, take this picture below of my adorable, delightful niece miss L.  This particular image feels too ordinary to me.  It needs some something.

It is lacking depth.  I took the same picture again but I added depth this way:

By placing Jefe (the k9) in front of miss L,not only does this creates depth, but  Jefe also  frames her face, therefore making this a visually interesting photograph!  Here is another way to make your pictures more fascinating using depth.

In this image I placed kiddos in the foreground and background to create depth, making my picture more appealing to the eye.  **Tip**  When you take this type of picture of your  lovely kids, make sure you  always point your focus on your  main subject. **  Now, I want you to go get your camera and experiment with creating depth in your images.  If you get an image you just love using depth of feild, please email it to me so I can look at it and give you some pointers!  ~xoxo~
